Everyone is ugly and rides a fixed-gear bike. I also forgot how unsafe America is compared to Asia. Looking fwd to going back to HK in 3 weeks, if I don't get stabbed first.

if anyone's interested uniqlo just dropped new japanese selvedge denim. nice thick denim in indigo and black, like the stuff from a coule years ago

In the US, or just abroad? Didn't see it on their web site.

Do you know whether they're offering cuts other than the S002?

In Portland, huh? Don't really think of that as a rough town. Guess it's not all granola and sustainable living. Never been to HK but it seems like that would be worse. Or maybe that's just the impression left by Asian gangster movies.

    maybe it's fake selvage?

    $400+ jeans lol

I'd say it suspect more so because the selvage line appears to be frayed instead of, you know, self-edged. I think an old Wrangler model used to have a half-selvage outseam, although I'm pretty sure the selvage line they used wasn't red (yellow, maybe?). Pretty sure some Japanese denim company made Wrang-pros in that style at some point.

I'm not entirely sure why I remember all of this.
