So I wore my new Parke & Ronen 4 inch inseam trunks to the community pool yesterday. I should mention I live in Roanoke, Virginia. I was trying really, really hard not to laugh at how obviously uncomfortable a lot of the folks there were. [IMG]

That's because you're British; every year Heathrow is a big fuckup and the admins are all like "we didn't expect winter to happen" O'RLY!!!
Haha! Fair point, we're really ill-prepared for pretty much every weather type except grey and slightly cold.

it's 8:17 in london and my express package hasn't been delivered according to the tracking info. I called to make sure no "acts of God" have occurred in Great Britain and the agent informed me that as of yet none have been reported in their system. A few more hours to go and then I get my first victory over USPS!

DHL shipping drives me crazy. There is no anticipated delivery time, but you have to sign for packages. WTF? Some of us don't have the time nor inclination to sit around all day, even if we are waiting for a a sweet Number (N)ine belt.

I had a package delivered by DHL a couple months ago. It was a horrible ordeal.

i think its because they have a strong presence with big cargo shipments like boat and air, people must be confident that they can deliver small parcels as well. dhl bought little couriers in the usa and canada and their operation in the states went bankrupt. somehow the canadian operation is still alive[IMG] we must boycott it. i believe they indeed deliver to usa .. i think the delivery guy who came this afternoon works for dhl, i also tracked my oki-ni package via dhl's tracking page, so...
maybe he works for some other company i dunno
