Not as good as For Emma. Some of it sounds like it's from the 80s. Other than that, pretty good.

if you do not tuck, what is a good hem length to have it denim drop properly over your boots?

    7.25" < too small i think.

    7.5" a good measurement?

I think I'm getting old because I'm already having a hard time wearing jeans and it hasn't even gotten to the real summer weather yet.

It depends mostly on your height, build, and the shape of the shoe. Also if you stack or not.

i always had a problem with stacks and i have tried apc ns size 29-31. 29 the better fitting. yeah i would like some stacking but not pancakes--i feel a smaller hem would be nicer in terms of the stacking but it would fall horrible on ankle boots or higher. for stacks do people always adjust them when wearing new jeans? i had a friend who adjusted his first pair of apc every 5 minutes, literally bending down adjusting his ankle area (stacks did come out nice though).

not jeans but i can imagine jeans to be stiffer so the stacking would be more visible. (hem of those pants are about 7.5"

no that's what i mean. i couldn't be bother with that shit. irked me out every time and especially when he will point out that i should fix my stacks LOL!

anyways, this is why i am wondering if i can choose a better hem length so it'll fall properly by itself. in hindsight, i should have kept the 29 NS, just didn't give it enough time to stretch doh!

As Aeg mentioned it depends on a couple factors. I think the shoe size is most important. 7.5" is the minimum if you're regularish in height and shoe size. If your shoe size is larger than 9 then I think you can do a little larger -- but then again I personally like a very slight flair.

yeah, i think the models from selfedge online wear the jeans very well. you would never think the hems are > 7.5" ... need to look at the photos more and copy lol
