You ever been to Brighton beach?

Best quote I ever heard was a french tv special on Russian new money, these gorgeous blondes are going to some event wearing fur and diamonds and one looks into the camera and says "we are beautiful, we are Russian, we are rich." (nous sommes belles, nous sommes Russes, nous sommes riches), no need to add anything...

wow. quote is powerful. gives an insight.. (0)

I mostly know white Russians (Russians who escaped after the revolution cause they were nobles/soldiers and their descendants hate commies) but the Russian scene in Europe is crazy. They throw really good parties but the bad taste is like out of this world. Still some of my favourite people cause they're sentimental and dependable.

true story. i was in san remo last year and my uncle was showing me his favourite watch place. big ol' russian guy walks in with his son(?) and wanted to see a jaeger lecoultre. i figured it was good taste. jeweler pulls is out and it is the biggest watch i have ever seen. take a rappers "breitling" and multiply is by 10 ahah. some sort of diving watch :/ ?!?! i asked to try it on after he left(because he didnt pay for it upfront...probaly going to his safe to get some cash[IMG] ) and this thing weighed about 2 pounds from out estimation.
the son had good taste, complimented my uncle on his nautilus[IMG]

it is very awesome and i wish i was a bit taller. its long in the arms for me[IMG] [IMG]

i took more fit pics (not just the ones i got flamed for haha) and decided that it was too big.

i love the style and asymmetrical-ness of it. maybe a toj band collar in "milk" could do the trick[IMG]

Reminds me of "I am Epic Win..."

Do have to add that Russian women are drama like Ana Karenina.

I'm not getting involved, but here's why I'm not going to wag my finger at Uncontrol: The jean had a lousy cut that created a noticeable visual oddity for anyone who wore them. This is evident by seemingly every member here who bought a pair during the first run eventually parting with them. To my knowledge, no one has been critical of the actual denim, hardware, etc. It's the wonky pattern of the jean that's the issue. Thus, this stock dump is going to be prone to criticism / playful jabs, regardless of how low the price is. I'm not questioning the seller's character, because by all accounts, he's a stand-up guy. I'm just not sure I would still be trying to unload a garment that has justifiably gotten a lot of criticism from a technical standpoint. And even though Uncontrol can be a real instigator and isn't likely ever to be a customer of Mauro's, Mauro shouldn't be trying to go blow-for-blow with him. That now-lost spat with chrono over the peacoat should explain why that is.
