List high (but still reasonable, of course) and then slowly drop your price unless you need to sell it ASAP. B&S urchins will often wait until you're like 20% dropped from your asking price and then offer you 80% of that, shipped to Norway.

    Truth.

Also, I feel like I've been getting an inordinate amount of int'l buyers lately... mostly Canada and Australia. I think over half the stuff I've sold in the last month has been to guys outside the USA.

I've been getting lots of international inquiries lately as well.
"Can you include shipping to Malaysia?"
    Fuck no.

I try to only ship to Canada now. People just complain and bitch so much when you have to ship internationally. "WAHHHH I ALREADY HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING, CAN YOU DROP THE PRICE SUM MORE?"

I don't even want to deal with international buyers to be honest. I've never had a problem with them, but it's just a hassle. Most of them outside of N America don't have confirmed shipping addresses and will most always opt for the cheapest shipping option. You can't blame them, but this means no tracking, delivery confirmation, or any seller protection of any kind. They could say they never received it and you'd be screwed.

I'm still getting used to the US dollar being so shitty. I list things in USD not realizing how much money I can end up losing with the conversion, especially now that PayPal's finally caught up.

I am happy to ship to any country but if it's outside north america you're either paying for the tracked shipping (over $50 usually) or paying me by gift.

I only ship Priority Mail internationally. It's costly, but if they want to buy it they will have to fork over the extra dough. It gives peace of mind to both parties, and I don't understand why people would want to cut that tiny bit of money for tracking. US - Canada Priority tracking is actually very good.
