Has there even been a pic around of Dayton non W+H that looks like the W+H ones? All the ones I have seen look pretty shitty. The oiling/distressing is what makes the W+H ones interesting like APK said
The W+H boots flatten out with age, and Daytons get beat up as you wear them...they'll all probably meet somewhere in the middle.

fuck I think my Carpe backzips are about 1/2 size small. I am considering getting them stretched by a cobbler. Toes are not a problem but I have a high arch and need more space there.

Anyone have any experience with stretching?

What's the leather? I'd be willing to bet they'd stretch just fine with wear.

I can't be too mad since I talked about them, but we can start a new sales thread. It just went next level now with sizing questions.

I hope everyone engaging in that discussion is miserable with their boots when they get them. [IMG]

I am serious as a heart attack, maybe not about buying the Schneider but people underestimate how terrible a Gap shirt can be. The real answer: extremely terrible.

Thinking about starting an official summer thread.

About clothes, or just like griping when a cool waterfront breeze blows cigar ash on our brioche and foie gras, etc.
