Much better, I don't understand why they're not more popular on the boards.

+1 I'd be 10x more likely to wear those than the NBs

Paypal collects about 2.5% for purchasing in pounds sterling with a dollar based account, reflected in their weak conversion rate. I know VISA does this to some extent as well, but I've never paid attention to figure out the actual percentage. Anyone know?

how about: which do you prefer for cross-currency purchases, credit card or paypal?

At some point, it just means that you are too old. I own a house now, but before I was married, at some point, it was just like "FFFFFUUUUUU", I can't deal with living with other people, and I got a place right by the Harvard Law School, which was about $1250 back in 2003, which is ass expensive for a guy on a postdoctoral salary.

In Cambridge right now paying that for a 350 sq foot studio, and I'm paying that on a PhD salary [IMG]. I don't like living with other people though.

There's definitely some great sneakers for under $100. I think most members here just prefer superior quality, or that "exclusive" feeling because you are likely to be the only one in MMM to say, but you'll definitely spot another person in Chucks, Vans, or Nikes

I love Authentics, Chucks, Blazers, Clarks DB and I always wear those more than any "baller" sneaker I've owned (with the exception of my CP Achilles that I'm beating up)
