Guessing it's mostly a case of "They should have run this design by a few more people." Doubtful the brand is intentionally making these covert references but it's a mighty coincidence to find them all in one place. Is the expression / design really worth alienating customers? Altho as LA Guy alluded to, maybe they were trying to get some attention with plausible deniability. Sorry to keep this going, I think all sides have been heard from at this point.
