1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

B&S as a whole is shit now. SW&D was always shit compared to MC, but now MC is shit too now. I just can't be fucked to make 20 individual threads for each piece I want to sell.

SMH. It just dawned on me that some dogs make more money than some people.

    Without a doubt.

tbh I have not down a cowl yet, but it's next on my project list. I bought like 700 yards of this really nice alpaca/silk blend yarn the other day for one, color is a very pale lavender, almost silver. Hopefully I can start on it this weekend if I have a minute. I'll post pics in the DIY thread when there's something to show. Pic of a finished version of the cowl in spoiler.

Like items from the same category (i.e. "pants") can be grouped together to minimize your listings and uploading photos from your desktop is a time saver. It's solved the "bumping" issue completely and it's easier to find items your looking for as a buyer. It's not as horrible as people make it out to be.

See, I don't think that it's a step backwards or anything, which is why I don't get why the quality of B&S has taken such a massive hit. There's almost nothing good being sold anymore, really nothing that I've felt compelled to purchase. Before the forum change, I was lusting after a piece or two a week.

Fucking sent something via USPS like 2 weeks ago through eBay, and apparently the du still has yet to receive it. Checked the tracking and it just says the package is unaccounted for, somewhere in Florida. Called USPS and apparently it's impossible to talk to a human, so I told him to go to his nearest USPS station. He's foreign and angry tho, I think this is going to hurt my eBay rating.

    Fucking USPS

If sellers were less lazy, the new format should make it much easier to find things since you can easily search by category. It's not that much extra work.

I'd really like to take the conversation to the the "improvements/suggestions for B&S", and not have it clog up threads in the main forums. We really are interested in your thoughts. We've polled powersellers, and there has been nearly unanimous agreement that buyers are now buying more goods, at higher prices. However, from some of the sentiments on this thread, obviously we are not addressing everyone's needs. If you could take your concerns to the Forum feedback forum, and to the appropriate thread, we can try to make things better. The B&S part of the forum was in need of a wholesale overhaul, but it's our first kick at the can, and we are eager to hear from you on what we can do to make it better for you.

    Cheers,

    Fok.
