don't get why you're backing down; if they guy thinks he's some god compared to everyone else here then he deserves to get massive backlash because he's nothing special compared to his "contemporaries"

Don't be silly. I obviously don't think I'm a 'god' compared to anyone else. I'm not sure I even know what that means in this context. I just find some of the extreme anxiety and agita and flaming to be pretty silly. The fact that there were enough people on either side to start a little mini flamewar about wearing just RO, or wearing RO with other designers"”it's very impressive, is all. Don't mind me. Flame away.

she just wants to go to the gap, and I...I just can't. I'm sorry. I would rather go to an american apparel inside of an urban outfitters. I would rather go to jcrew. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

The urge to dress your SO is well nigh irresistible if you're a type A geek like... well, all of us.

Agreed; shopping with and for her is fun. Watching her become a clothing geek is equally rewarding, and tough on the wallet.

I've come to terms with the gf preferring cheap "cutesy" things from yesstyle over the balenciaga riders jacket I tried to get her to wear. Sometimes she lets me get her things from Zara, but that's about the extent of it outside of wallets/bags.

Had to get myself out of Jack Straw today before I could do some damage to my credit card, there was so much Junya and Dries that I wanted to buy. Great seasons for both.
