I'm not sure my bank manager approves of me crossing over, but it was about time I did something about what I wear out of the office. It's probably good timing - the 'heritage' thing is age appropriate (I'll hit the big 40 this weekend) and I'm finally making some progress onrectifying the post-accident weight gain. Still trying to balance avoiding the old man trying to be trendy danger and the I've given up caring about what I look like trap.

Look at some Yohji Yamamoto shows. While his clothing may not be exactly to your tastes, it proves there's no age limit to steezing hard in your casual wear.

Here is something I never thought I'd say: Uncontrol, from what I can see those look pretty damned awesome.

^ +1, MBD is crushing it in that Junya skirt.
I think it's actually a trenchcoat that she's rigged up to wear as a skirt.

MoK, your swag is perfectly fine for your age and very appropriate imo.

I believe it's a skirt made of vintage military jackets sewn together. MINDFUCK

I thought you had taken said boots out of said box. Is there some sort of epic recent purchases post coming?

I think I need to get you to proxy me a proxy from Japan, I don't have the patience personally.

You're right, she talks a lot in those posts and I'm like tl;dr, I just assumed it was this same piece

strung up differently on the basis that... well how many junya pieces made of old military coats can one person reasonably own?

Yeah that multiple angles thing didn't work out - Cloak boots arrived today and are awesome, everything I expected, including "too big". I put them on and was like, "yup, you're an idiot, you're closer to an 11 than a 12 and people told you they fit big, how you gonna take a 44 in MMM boots and expect to fit the same size in these?" So yeah, optimism dashed. Let that be a lesson to you, kids.

Do I try to wear them with a thick insole, or pass them along to Nil, who will probably wear them way more often and way better than I would?
