I'm really fucking in to graphic tees right now.

This may begin and end with Ann Demeulemeester tees from a few years ago but whatever.

After drinking and bro'ing out with opening ceremony's employees, I proceeded to whoop the shit out of their stock team in arm wrestling.

I live in Michigan, so the J. Crew outlet is about as "fancy" of a menswear shopping experience as I'll get without making a long drive. I've had the pleasure of hitting up several independent menswear shops during my trips to NYC, though, and store presentation absolutely adds to the overall experience.

It may sound snooty to expect buying a pair of pants to come as part of some memorable experience, but when you shop at venues such as the ones listed in the article, that's what you get. Perhaps I'm biased, since I tend to romanticize the notion of the independent shop, but walking into Epaulet isn't comparable to running into the Gap or even Uniqlo.

Presentation is part of what keeps you from blowing through a shop such as Self Edge or Epaulet in five minutes. Their small shops, especially compared to the big-box clothing options. But everything in these shops, from the garments to the hooks their on to the wall decor is part of what shapes that boutique's sense of identity.

You may get an inexpensive shirt at Uniqlo, but there's none of that presentation. More often than not, you're just another faceless dude elbow-to-elbow with over faceless dudes picking through hundreds of items like some animal rummaging through the dumpster.

back when number (n)ine was stil poppin that store was the dopest. shit felt like a dream or a manga or some shit.

Lmfao... fresh from the PM box
What the fuck is it with you? You have these weird fucking overreactions to things with exclamation points and clear disgust for trivial shit on a message board. "What the fuck, Moo?" I mean, seriously? Who gives a shit? I posted a link to my own for sale thread in a thread about things for sale without realizing it was AGAINST THE FUCKING RULES, NOOOOO... for real, AR SIX, you need to not be a little uptight bitch.
Never a better time to post it, [IMG] It wasn't even against the rules as far as I know, shit just wasn't a good deal and what a douche move to post your own sale in the "someone should kop" thread.

Yeah, SUCH a douche move. FYI, none of your shit is a good deal. Drop them prices brah. Seriously your shit has been the same price since the Summer. No one is kopping. And make that signature bigger and more fucking blue. Can't quite make it out.
