Somebody tell me when it is going to be safe to wear a leather jacket without someone going "har har what are you trying out to be on Happy Days? har!"

Really? HAPPY DAYS? The show from almost 40 years ago? Extreme pop culture reference fail.

Comes with the territory. I, without fail, get at least one Flock of Seagulls reference each time I "go out." I've got the relatively conservative iteration of that cut, too.

"It says they're both 100% wool."
"Yeah, but the $3,000 suit is better. It *fits* better. It has a *better fit*."
"Yeah, but why not just have the hundred dollar suit tailored? Then you have an exquisitely-fitting, $150 suit, made of the same material, *made for your body*."

I just cut the collar off of a vintage button down dress shirt (in a thin chambray material fwiw). The shape of the collar was really dated, preventing me from wearing an otherwise good shirt. I took some quality scissors and followed the seams that were already there, and it resulted in a perfect banded collar. I'm really impressed.

The leather? It's already been washed and treated, I doubt you'd get much shrinkage out of it.

yeah i've been doing a little reading on it and from what i've read, you still might be able to get like 1/2 a size out of it. honestly i dont know the first thing about materials/treatments etc myself though

I just can't get behind banded collars. Nice A&C project though.

just give them a thumbs up and be like ayyyyyyyyyyyyy
jet's got the right thought here, and henry winkler is a cool guy so take your compliment man

fuck it i might just wash my rick jacket to try to shrink it a size. someone tell me not to

don't do it, you won't get enough shrink and it'll ruin the sale value of the jacket

Taking photos of yourself for internet friends is gay. And if I ever do, I still won't be as ballsy as you, because I'd never have the balls to post a photo that retarded looking. You look like a disaffected slouchy alienated douchey teenager who has a wardrobe from the garbage can of Marshalls. You look ridiculous. Hilarious that you would take that photo and then think "oh yea, I'm going to post this on the internets." [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I got called "airline boy" last night b/c of my toj bomber. but that girl was a little special.

I never get anything but positive comments on my bomber, even though I leave the fur collar on. You guys probably just need to look meaner or something.

Washed my Crates for the first time today with Woolite Dark. Thought indigo would still bleed despite the detergent's propensity to maintain the dark color. My jeans are now darker than they were before and I feel foolish. /Facepalm.
