My understanding is they sell cheap **** that has been knocked off from everybody else plus the people who shop there who think they're ahead of the curve.

Also, UO, along with H&M/Century 21 etc. rip off designers

I have a few things from them, their stuff is pretty slimfitting.

Also the ownership is kidn of sleazy and has been linked to some pretty abhorrent political causes (though what company of moderate size hasn't?) Anyway it's still worth dropping in to pick up cheap sunglasses or sale items. And to flirt with tattooed girls.

I understand the English ones have a very different business model and carry some respectable brands.
