Oi that whole page is full of chonky girls (these are not the pregnant ones). My lord. I guess that if you can't lose weight, you had better buy a larger sausage casing for your body.

Speaking of American Appare, I'd like to introduce you all to the owner, Dov Charney.

I was just stunned by the fact that they felt the need to start their own maternity line, considering the bulk of their customers are young teens. Kids must be getting knocked up a lot these days.

Please explain what redeeming features that jacket has.
well the jacket, surprisingly, is 95% silk. the cut, the look, the materials, the metal buttons and chains, the fact that it looks like burberry prorsum but is ACTUALLY balmain all contribute to its awesomeness.
^ I don't like any of it. The checkboard cardigans are gross. The crewneck's are a okay but that specific blue/white isn't. Hate ribbed knits. Basic crews/v-necks/cardis are the same as always but these colors are boring. The ultra-chunky cardigans from last season weren't that nice either. I think mmm store had every colour in stock 60% off, lol.
i got one of the sickest sweaters ive ever seen the day it came out. too bad it's only available in paris and they only made a handful of them. eat that Design Team haters [IMG]

Side-tabs, black/grey small print size 30. Final markdown this weekend, someone should hop on those.
I actually like the checkboard cardigan, may (but probably not) cop.

Mm, it is actually quite a typical balmain design as they've been touting their big-shouldered ostentatious marching jackets for a while now. That's why I'm partly disconcerted with any love for such a jacket, the gaudy metal chains and buttons serve more as a signifier of wealth than any creative purpose, and I'm not convinced that the 95% silk benefits the aesthetic at all and more inclined to believe it was chosen for the same reason. It's the kind of fashion I think most people here (or in any aesthetic-driven fashion community) try to steer clear of.
