1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Not bothering with it, I have others things to buy and really need to get a winter coat, my most recent Junya buy was a lot lighter than I thought. Also, the whole social life thing has really cut into my clothing budget.
+1 this So many things to kop, so much scotch to drink and cigars to smoke

I swear, the only things this guy does are give cheap bumps to his shitty B&S threads and clog up other threads in this forum trying to promote items in his shitty B&S threads.

MC did a "casual fridays" waywrn contest. For your lul-related enjoyment and voting: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=203498 There are actually a couple of good ones in there... and then there's vox's head-scratching interpretation of the word "casual" which is some sort of bizzaro-world inversion of the average person's tendency to think a button up with khakis is "dressy". It's another world...

"Casual" as in a step below a Supreme Court appearance or marrying the daughter of a Saville Row store owner?

Vox's fit plus or minus the tie actually looks a fair bit like my monday to thursday office standard. Casual fridays are pretty much Spuurs / Lanvins / W+H Shirt of some description / Knit. His is an interesting take on the casual tie fit failure - usually it's the tie that fails, not the casual.

Vox's defense was hilarious too--"no tie = no effort"

    Nice fit, though

Vox looks so strange all the time. It's like his clothing is on a hanger instead of an actual person.

NYR was a great example of how to do casual well while staying away from other subcultures. The leather jackets and jeans on display generally made me spit up a little, how can such exacting, persnickety people completely ignore what a pair of jeans should look like?

Bonus RFT: what is the deal with Gant Rugger? Why does it exist? Do we really need another brand that's just "high-quality The Gap"?
