1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Just get the MA+. There's really nothing else quite like it. Otherwise, what about a Guidi model? http://theloit.com/product/productDetail?productNo=12093_5639

The Loit is also an affiliate. Don't recall off the top of my head if we don't have a small discount there.

Counterpoint: get a bag from a bag maker, not a fashion brand. I have a cool guidi bag but I never carry it because it's a bit impractical, whereas my structured cornelian Taurus and Porter bags gets all the use

The MA+ and Guidi bags are too floppy for daily use, especially if you carry a laptop (if you regularly carry a laptop, I recommend a backpack, tho..)

I use a cote&ciel backpack at the moment, but it just feels silly wearing it sometimes with long coats or "artisanal" stuff

I had this made for me, in a slightly darker, slightly "cracked vegetal dyed leather:

Took about 3 weeks. Pretty happy with the results (mine will be used as a travel and gym bag.)

A Filson zipper tote has been my go to.

(Get a laptop sleeve and through everything in said tote.)

Nothing complicated here and Filson totes now come in pretty versatile colors. I believe Unionmade has a leather version that is water resistant.

@gettoasty I agree that they are great, but filson are not producing the zippered tote in black (and no longer the one without zippers either it seem), the most versatile of colors... ;) I have the one without zippers which is great for most things as long as its not raining.

I think @dieworkwear initially made me aware of this place, but Without a Trace in Chicago does a decent job on leather alterations. I took in my Rick Owens jacket to get the worn out knit cuffs replaced and to install a 2-way zipper. They did a nice job, and it was quick (turnaround was less than a week). They also do reweaving, but since I don't have anything that needs reweaving right now, I don't know how good they are.

Hey everyone, if you didn't know, we've been working on a Styleforum-contributed arts magazine for the past year called "All Styles Considered," and now it's up on the Styleforum Market. You can order there!

Big thanks to everyone that contributed, especially the team that put it all together: @LonerMatt, @thatoneguy, myself, and extra, extra thanks to @artishard116 who designed it and did all the legwork for printing. Big ups to @Synthese and @LA Guy for funding the printing and shipping.

All profits go back to Styleforum to hopefully create more dope stuff from users. Seriously, it's incredible the breadth of work that we got, and I'm so excited to share it with you all. It's awesome what talents our little community can come up with. I could not be happier with the end product, considering that this all started from just a random post in the photography thread.

This edition's theme is "Place," and people interpreted it however they wanted. The fun part is leafing through the magazine and just seeing how it all falls together through that common thread, and we've got essays, photographs, artwork, and more. It's really something special.

Price includes shipping for USA, $10 shipping for Canada, $15 for the rest of the world. This is a very limited print run, so get on it!

***Please note that this operation is just me shipping out from my own home. I will try my best to get orders out in a timely manner.***

***International customers: I apologize profusely for the price of shipping. I spent a great deal of time researching and at the post office asking them what the cheapest method for international shipping is, and this is about as low as I can get. Please contact me if you have any questions.***

I hope that you all will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed working on this project. It truly is something special.

    With love,
    Bang T.

I don't care if I opened the mag. and all that was there was a page with a smiley face, I bought one to support SF.

But I know it will indeed be special.
