How easy jeans are to clean is one of the only things I miss about wearing them.

My point wasn't that there aren't costs involved in what they're doing; it's whether something like this is worth doing in the first place. Even if a customer doesn't want to overdye something himself, there are lots of companies in the US who will professionally overdye something for you. Starting price can be as little as $10.

Side note perhaps, but does anyone have experience with Dye It Black? I've been meaning to drop a couple of things off with them, but not sure how effective the process will be.

even leaving the look aside, i put on one of my 10 pairs of apcs the other day and couldn't believe how uncomfortable they were. how the hell did i used to live in those things

Cannot wear jeans anymore or any slim bottoms for that matter. Need the fabric to drape freely. Then again lifting weights has also made jeans and slim bottoms look much worse on me than they used to.

How easy is it to replace knit sleeve cuffs on a leather jacket that have lost their elasticity? Also, how easy/advisable is it to replace a one-way zipper on a leather jacket with a two-way zipper?

1) Easy enough for a leather jacket specialist.
2) Very easy for a leather specialist, provided they have the zips.

Thanks. Would changing it to a 2-way zipper actually affect the intended fit/silhouette of the jacket?

And "dry wool" whatever the f that is (Yohji, CDG and the pw x snowman pants). Maybe it's the same? I dunno, but it's awesome.

No, not at all. It's a little more "dandy", which I know a lot of designers don't like, but no, it's just a personal preference.

I swear every single online shop carries the brand AMI now, I have no idea why. Looks like an overpriced J crew.

Dulcamara pants have such a great shape. Too bad they are sold out everywhere I look! :(

I love wearing jeans, all other types of pants are inferior

I have a feeling that when you say "jeans" you don't mean indigo denim straight leg pants.
