1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Not really. I assume he's just trying to accumulate as many email addresses as he can for spamming purposes.

The Mrw-200 series from Casio is great and comes in a wide selection of colors. I use it when I go on holiday. Goes through security at airports without having to remove it is also a plus. Great legibility and robustness is another

    I agree.

Find it kind of odd it only lasted this long. I mean, they knew what they were getting when they hired him and he was very specific about what he wanted to change there if hired (everything). But who knows, maybe he left on his own accord. Probably not, but maybe.

Really? He went from small league e-tailer buyer/CD to big time creative director, mostly on the basis of his own style and street style cred. He was clearly not qualified but he went all in, turning the brand 180 degrees, faking it until he would (hopefully) make it.

I feel bad for all the truly qualified people that are passed up when brands roll the dice like that.

He got major media exposure out of it. And probably a nice pay check.

I guess so, but what's he going to do now? Go back to being a buyer? That has to feel like a punch to the ego.

Seems like he was vaguely shooting for something Tom Fordian which isn't a bad idea but it's not clear he ever had a coherent vision (beyond "change everything" and "70s pimps") or the acumen to see it through. Which comes as surprise to no one given his background, not sure what Brioni was hoping for once the oh so sweet buzz died down. Also his pants are way too tight c'mon.

Speaking of Tom Ford, not really a designer that's even remotely on my radar but the current collection might be of interest to some here, oh yes.

drjonathanguer contacted me also to asking to buy an item that I'm selling. Haven't yet hit the part where he asks me to ship to Nigeria, but I'm guessing it's not far off since he's mentioned in his last email that he'll be away from the USA for a month.

Tell that you're affluent and not so interested in money but just want the piece to go to a good home. Then ask for a 2 page essay on why he likes the item and tell him if you like his essay you'll ship it for free.
