1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Last day to vote for the challenge winner. Pretty close race, so vote if you haven't.

Only Russell Westbrook thinks that. Dude might be the worst dressed athlete.

    Awkward fashion anecdote:

I was walking my friend's dog tonight around Lincoln center, and was passing an outdoor restaurant when I heard a bark from another dog that was sitting with a group of restaurant patrons. I looked up and saw it was none other than Thom Browne seated with his yappy little lap dog. Naturally I asked "hey, are you Thom Browne?"

He either didn't hear me or just ignored me, so I awkwardly shuffled away.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Next time, you should just stand there and demand an answer. What could possibly go wrong?

(I ran into Nat Port when she was hot shit and a Harvard student but I didn't have my contacts in so I thought she was a girl from a bar. It was akward when I realized.)

Am I right in assuming that there's a firm market price for most items on Grailed/other second-hand markets, and that unless due to unforeseen events such as a celebrity plugging a label, a documentary of the designer releasing, etc, that every item of the same condition will sell for relatively the same price?

I've listed a pair of NWT Raf Velcro highs, which I thought would sell quickly, but every offer I've gotten have been around the same price, with the potential buyers unwilling to go above a certain amount. Would this price be the "true" market value of the item? I know that time/timing, and seller reputation matter in terms of how long you're willing to wait and if you're selling during a sales period, etc, but my experience has been that the difference is no more than ~10%.

  13. people are cheap. people on grail even more so. the least resistance i've had while selling items there were for john elliott t shirts. good luck.

I'm not bashing Grailed, I wanted to ask how firm the market price for second hand clothes is.

Unrelatedly, I like Westbrook, his outfits are questionable but at least you know he doesn't have a stylist and just does what he wants.

On Groiled, it's a race to the bottom - everyone will wait you out

Are the only alternatives here and eBay? Not having much luck with anything so far, kinda left thinking now that I'll only order from Europe, from stores with a returns policy.

There's seller groups on Facebook and stuff too, but they're usually very specific and small.
