Ironing feels like a chore too. Also, you generally drop off your shirts when you have other things to drop off... like suits and outerwear

I guess I'm one of the few who actually enjoys doing laundry and ironing.

If I try to pick up my garments when the dry cleaner hasn't fully loaded, I'm automatically sent back to the front entrance. Sucks.

It's relaxing for me too. One of the few times I can have some quiet time without distraction. I also get to catch any stains or defects before wearing it out.

But if time is a constraint for most, then it's understandable.

Flashy pants are rather old news as far as fashion is concerned. My theory on why the brits wear them is that it just goes easily with a green (Barbour) jacket and echoes the the red socks worn with formal attire by some semi-eccentric Brits of old, notably those of the foreign service.

Note: old people in Paris who are editors or whatever often wear coloured khakis, although red is just one option.

I left my beanie in a cab last night. Looking for something new, lightweight wool, perhaps a wool linen mix, not too thick. Longer than usual as I have a large head. Any suggestions?

The Wolf vs Goat beanies are really good and only $20 or so as I recall. Not sure if they have any in stock. But they are really lightweight and soft.
