1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Was pretty much going to say the same exact thing. If you want to buy a tie from NMWA, the following both come with my Biggskip Wedding Attire Seal-of-Approval:

Tim Duncan has spent exactly 70 dollars on clothes in the past 10 years.

I don't know why everyone trips on the wedding advice, nobody is going to notice or care what suit or accessories you are wearing.

Nothing particularly mind-blowing about them, they're just cut well and made with above average materials. Notwithstanding the fact that I think they're a little bit overpriced, they're pretty much the only tees I wear anymore.

Wedding ties are supposed to have a silver background with either a shepherd's check or a prince of wales, and really, both look good. The shepherd's check look more summery, but I am a big fan of PoW ties/

I actually like some tonal, textured ties in biege/cream, navy/midnight, and or grey/silver, but that is not technically correct.

True, but no one cares, period. It's for yourself. Otherwise, it could be tees and jorts and crocs all year round.

I just went to a yuppie wedding reception and regretted spending so much time on suits cuz no one gave a shit. Everyone wore MTM with those hidden spread collars while I was the only one with semi-spread and plain toed shoes.

Tossed all my old underwear and bought the (new?) Uni-qlo seamless ones and Airism ones. Quality of life has improved dramatically

Underwear technology has come a long way

Honestly MeUndies is fucking incredible. Threw all my shit away and bought enough for myself for a month at a time. And yes I do laundry every 1-2 weeks.Plenty of extras.

I replaced all of mine with the uniqlo tencel boxer briefs a while back and for some reason they've discontinued them. I don't think anybody else is making tencel/modal underwear nearly as inexpensive as uniqlo was. I also got a couple pairs of the airism boxer briefs but I don't like them. They don't breathe.

I'm not big on the uniqlo undies anymore for exactly that reason.

Anyone have good rec for summer weight merino boxer briefs?

I hate poly. I've tried em all, even some really expensive techy poly ones, and I hate them all. Need to switch to merino now I think.
