1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thank you for all of the advice everyone! I'm on my phone so I can't go back and quote and respond to it all, so I'm just quoting this last one. All of the recs were much appreciated, and a good chunk of them I had already done in the past or on this trip and enjoyed so I think we're on the same page lol (except who the heck recommends pizza???)

I had really enjoyed dishoom when I was here for work in 2012, and now I see a bunch have popped up around the city. Still good?

St. John bread and wine is closed for renovations but I already went to the other St. John the other night to chill and snack and drink for a while and I'll be going there again tonight for dinner. (Definitely one of my favorite places in town) Salt beef bagel was necessary for sure, knocked that out one of my first nights here.

Based on all of this I would have loved to try J Sheeky for a fish pie but I actually just had a fish pie for lunch yesterday at Wright Brothers (?) I think that was the name, not the American guys with the planes though.

Eaten a bunch of good stuff so far though - had oysters, deviled herring roe, and fish and chips on the seaside in Whitstable, sat beef bagel of course, fish pie, steak and kidney pie, potted shrimps, pigeon squab, full English breakfast, lots of cask ales, lots of Neal's yard cheese, Sunday roast lamb with all the fixings after a romp around Hampstead Heath, Eccles cake with lancashire, a "99" ice cream from a van with all the fixings, etc etc. all the things I can't get back home :)

I watched a rerun of Diners Drive-Ins and Dives where Guy was touring London. I missed the first part of the episode but he seemed to enjoy the food at Hook Camden and Bird of Smithfield

Italian is quite useful if you,re dealing with production and I'm sure you've noticed Japanese people tend to have very poor english so Japan mags/design/etc.

Anyone catch the JayZ x Pusha track? Jay seems to be back in form, even used a streetwear meme to good effect.

I asked for white jean recs before (thanks chet) but I decided I want some better quality shit than 501s like the somets I had that shrank too much even though Gordon told me they wouldn't. Damn those were nice.

Also need some recs for ivory linen pants, no drawstring but not formal pants like rotas either (no designer shit price tags), some shit that would be perfect for stuntin in malibu.

crazy, i never believed this would happen. living in london means you are so remote from the rest of the country (which was the problem for most of the politicians/'experts' I'm sure).

Great time for Americans to buy from UK stores at least. Pound has fallen off a cliff.
