1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks for the precisions @LA Guy
That's what I had in mind for the indigo dye.

If it were a black poplin bag for instance, it would be unlikely to have some color bleeding (at least not in the same proportions as with raw denim).

What makes it different here is because it's a denim textile, and as such the dye can either be "regular" (same as the one used on t-shirt, sweatshirt, cotton trousers, etc..) or "jeans" specific (which means possible bleeding). Is this correct?

Most dyes, like RIT dyes, chemically bind to the textile, and will therefore not, if it is high quality and correctedly applied, bleed to any appreciable degree. The will certainly not "crock". Other dyes, like indigo, are surface dyes.

So it's all about the type of dye used (surface dye or bonding dye).

Let's hope it's not a surface dye used on the bum bag.

When I buckled my belt I noticed a bulge in the front compromising my flat stomach so I threaded it to the left side and buckled it sideways.

If the material is described as a "denim cotton", in invariably will be a surface dye. However, it's unlikely to be made out of denim that has been dyed specifically to fade quickly and lose color rapidly.

Interesting, what makes you say so? Is it because of an industry standard?

This conversation for some reason made me think of the garment dyed indigo Inverallan Inventory had a couple years ago.

Yes, that's pretty much it. When someone says "denim cotton", they are talking about a twill, typically a 3x1 twill, made from spun cotton yarns, between, with a surface dyed warp and a "natural" or white weft, though that may vary.

Pretty crap, in my experience. I got a bunch of them a few months ago on the recommendation of someone here. They shed like crazy; even after multiple washes my junk is coated in black fuzz at the end of the day. And now they're starting to tear, after less than half a dozen wears. Not really sure what the point of paying a bunch of extra money for comfort is if AIRism is going to be roughly eight billion times more durable.

Haha. Funny. In all seriousness, it is interesting watching the NBA fashion parade.

I remember the old days of 8 button suit jackets that reached to a player's knees, then there was the AI hip-hop inspired generation. That came to a close post-Pacers-in-the-stands fight. Then things got conservative, and then fashionable again with D-Wade and LeBron in Miami, and now Westbrook has pushed the bar the furthest. I would imagine they have stylists that promote their image, considering the NBA is a good forum for lifting one's brand/image for future revenue streams.

Westbook, despite being such good point guard, is a horrible dresser. I can never figure out if every single decision regarding clothing is a joke or if he's dead serious, but the "looks" he used to put on his instagram page were among the funnier things I've seen in mens fashion.
