the more I start spending on clothing, the more i want to buy it from stores I really, really like
I've had a couple bad experiences where there's an item I really, really want and I'll end up trying to pick it up from randomwebshop#23 and had a terrible shopping experience.

yea when you have stores with such good service and great selection, I strongly encourage just sticking with them. that makes the buying/choosing an actual experience and you build a lasting connection with the shop. I think it makes you less likely to resell items too, 'cause sentimental value and all that

Looking to buy a knit jacket. I like cowichans but the designs on them are kind of blah. This wings + horns one looks alright, but i'm afraid of the quality. Any other suggestions?

Agreed, whenever I pop into Lift or whatnot they always ask how I like so and so item I bought a year or two ago. I never wanna be like "sold it to some teenager in California, sorry dudes" so I end up wearing it out.

Quality on these is pretty good IMO. Not sure you'll find any legit Cowichans that are much better.

Or you could just get an American jacket that was made in China. This time of year your local Levi's outlet will probably have a lined denim jacket. I have one lined in faux shearling.

Is it super special repro? Blanket lined in an authentic Navajo pattern? Denim threads woven by Japanese hengeyokai and dyed in the blood of oni demons, with a blessing from the Emperor himself?

Nope, it's just a beater denim jacket lined in fake fur. But it was only ~$20 IIRC, so if you're on a budget, there ya go.

I'm going to have simple cafe-style leather bomber made, but I can't decide if I like the breast pockets/zipper or the pocketless chest better.
