1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'm really liking this seasons Margiela bomber jackets, can't decide between one of these or the cream linen blend jacket

+1 I saw a tan suede 5-zip from the new season which looks really nice. It's light weight so might work for your occasional cool tropic night.

God damn. This really bummed me out. Which one of his hairstyles should I copy?

Also, the obligatory in memoriam cover:

Last one looks good @RegisDB9. Also, @mrchariybrown, we need to bring back suede truckers.

Where to find a good, plain, long/tall beanie/watch cap?
Preferably merino, yak or possum type of wool in a grey or neutral cream type of colour. I have no idea what I'm looking at on army surplus sites. There's plenty of wool/cash blends but I'm not necessarily looking for designer prices. The EG cashmere ones from FW15 would be perfect but they're ~$100 on sale. Norse are like $40, decent?

Yeah I've contemplated one of theirs but there's no light colours left and they are kind of short.
