Watched the Back to the Future trilogy this week and noticed Doc kopped some Margielas when he stopped over in 2015.

Visited the Chanel exhibition at the Saatchi yesterday afternoon http://mademoiselleprive.chanel.com/en_WW/

More of an 'experience' than a traditional exhibition. Not that much clothing on display (although a lot of her 30's jewelry). Arguably it's more dominated by Karl Lagerfeld than Mademoiselle Chanel, but definitely worth a visit if you're in London this week.

any of you west coast dudes ever visit the restaurant Red Medicine in LA? if so would really value some quick impressions (not just the food, also decor/design/ 'concept' etc)..

No more numbers with round edges, like 0s, 8s, 6s, etc. For example, i just found a great scarf for $117 and a coat for $471.

Yeah me either, haven't been to LA in a while now, should ask jet for a critique

SVB and mbaum are LA locals too so maybe they'd know/heard something

Sharpening = shaving off the top

This is amazing. My favorite line is: "Style mavens from Kylie Jenner to Rihanna have the entire fashion and apparel world at their disposal, and they could wear jeans made entirely of diamonds if they wished. Yet they choose to make a statement by wearing loose and comfortable wide-leg pants."

Also only 5 of those people are actually wearing wide legged jeans and they are all flairs which are different thing than JNCOs???

I think Fok, our resident style maven, has jeans made entirely out of diamonds, too. And a pair of JNCO.
Take that Rihanna.

Random question: re australia

Can anyone comment on the living costs per year for an international grad student in Sydney or Melbourne? Including food, rent (reasonable distance to campus under 2-5km)

How do the costs compare to major cities in North America?

Tuition would already be insanely high compared to Canadian standards though

Sorry if this isnt the appropriate thread
