remember when everyone was creaming over Gyakusou? What happened to that hype

That said if anyone has a leaf print jacket from a while back in S holla

Sometimes I look in my closet and wonder what I'm doing with my life

You know how occasionally you forgot something really cool existed that you wanted really bad in the past but then find it again and then have a soul crushing realization that you still can't have it? Paul Harnden bird shirts are my bane

One of my Gitman Vintage shirts have misaligned buttons somehow. They were aligned when I bought them, but now they're all off by an inch or something. I don't even know how that happens

Speaking of that shirt, it's corduroy and it fucking sucks and sticks to everything. I can barely put on a jacket while wearing that shirt

I've been wearing Levi's commuters for months straight and I'm pretty sure they're the best things I've gotten for $30. The crotch reinforcement is so dope and the fabric actually looks and feels nice

The other day I was riding my bike while wearing my EG long shirt and got mistaken as a woman multiple times because of my long hair and beautifully light fabric shirt

Does anyone still wear Thom Browne?

I remember when I was really into Thom Browne. Fucking Scott M, think I bought into his godamn kool-aid

I've figured out that I'm a pretty big brand whore, but for brands that don't fucking matter. Like who really cares about Cosmic Wonder or Nonnative? They're not that cool. The only people who think it's cool are you nerds. Everyone else just thinks I'm some pretentious Japanese loving dick

I was visiting my mom the other week and found my old navy Sebago deck boots that I bought many, many years ago when I really wanted Rogues Gallery deck boots and couldn't afford them. They're still as ugly as ever. I think I'm going to plant sunflowers in them to counteract the sinful ugliness that those boots bring upon the world

Sometimes I like to go into J. Crew and just stand there for 10 minutes cause all the stores smell like new socks and I'm not sure there's a better smell than "new sock smell"

Those Reeboks only remind me of that brief moment in time when Reebok had a skate team and Kareem Campbell was on it and those were his signature shoe. This was just about the time he appeared in 20 shot sequence (?) skating in untied tims. So clearly he was the king of skateboarding footwear at the time. But even that couldn't help sell those shoes.

Now it looks like palace is re-releasing them as skate specific shoes. Fuck palace.

Gyakusou really wnet down hill after that collection. Now it's just ugly stuff with big logoes. Really like my leaf jacket and the other stuff I got from the same collection. But still regret not buying the leaf shorts.

Had the same thought yesterday when I had to pack down all my clothes since I'm going to renovate my apartment. When I had that huge pile of clothes on my bed it made me think of all the money I spent on it all and that I could probably go many years without buying any new clothes... but today I'm sitting at work and thinking about the field jacket from Arcteryx Veilance that I've been wanting for quite some time...

Placed my first order with Zenmarket last week for for items - just had notification of a re-credit for one of the four items as one seller won't deal with proxys - is this a common occurance?

It definitely happens. Some Japanese sellers seem aghast for their items to leave the country.

Makes no sense at all, selling to a proxy is the same as selling to anyone else and most of the time can't even tell it's a proxy because they just use their own names / bank accounts. It'll go down as negative feedback on the seller as well. Must be a total weirdo

Gyakusou is still the one of the few collections that caters to interesting clothing for runners, its a completely unique brand imo, there are countless other tech/athletic projects but few of them are built for running long distances, but I think we'll be seeing more in the future. Isaora x Siki Im is the only other thing I can think of thats made specifically for runners and looks cool, CONS renovator looked like it would work for running and was mildly of interest.

Kareem Campbells segment were always the absolute steeziest of any skate video.

Some of the proxies use names that are clearly intermediaries with thousands of positive feedback. As unlikely as it sounds, it does happen.

I occasionally see US>Japan proxies when I sell on [email protected] I could understand why sellers would be wary of them. Getting a third party involved always complicates things. From a sellers perspective: if the proxy messes up the transaction, the buyer could leave poor feedback to the seller for something that wasn't their fault. Obviously that's not the case with somewhere like ZenMarket where they purchase the item for you (they will leave the seller good feedback regardless) but I think in general to a seller "Proxy = Risk"
