Thanks DWW and Ragechester.
Maybe it's because I'm drunk, but I've been digging Alexa Chung's video series on British Vogue. I know Fok will say it's nothing new and he's been reading about all this stuff since the 1940s, and none of these messages are new, but some of the videos are fun to watch
Why would I say that? I had no idea how to be a Bond Girl, and apparently, I don't exfoliate properly either.
No, no, the ones with Chung are numbered. They're on topics like diversity in fashion, how to become a store buyer, how to become a designer, how social change intersects with fashion, etc.
It's part of a series they're doing.
Just bookmarked that video series. Going to check it out when Beasts of No Nation gets too emotionally draining
Also, boring RFT: Anyone ever have stuff shipped from Germany using DHL? My package still seems to be in Germany after four days of transit. But it's my first shipment from the country, so I'm not sure what to expect.
x-posting from nmwa-thread for the simple reason that these boots are supercool
I bought some Three Animals stuff from Trueffelschwein Berlin and it sat in Germany for weeks. It took slightly over a month to get to my doorstep, and when it did it looked like this:
Plaid, flannel or checks.
Anyone has this peculiar thing that the size of the main "squares" must be just right?
Too small, it makes the shirt too busy and too big it makes it fit "boxy".
Do we have a thread on this? When my tv finally dies (maybe it is dead, it never gets used) I might acquire that for streaming movies and watching dvds
Pretty sure that there is one in arts and entertainment? But if not, feel free to post, and I'll chime in best that I can.
I personallly love food shows. And also, the usual popular stuff from HBO, Showtime, AMC, etc... One thing that I love about TV is that it doesn't require me to engage so actively. I love talking (obviously), but TV allows you to comsume passively, and because it's so programmed, you are never going to have an unwanted surprise the way you often can on the internet (I have Directtv, and on Demand, which is technically the internet, but it's a very limited piece of it.)
Yeah, I had a knit ship to me from Germany via DHL and it took a full month to arrive.
Guys, this really hurts to read. Going to PM some TOJ customers about coping strategies.
Is anyone familiar with giogio brato? In the hunt for a geller bomber replacement i came across
this leather bomber...
is this joke or did i miss something?
