I'm outdone. I have the Streets 1&2 and the Cream book, and the Borthwick somewhere.

What's the Encens mono like ? Was reading up on the Hermès years a while ago and there was a vague mention about his MMM Line 4 and the Encens book as reference.

That's next-level creepy that, according to his site, vox is obsessed with (1) '60's actors, (2) himself, and (3) making fun of Fok.

Yeesh.

His blog is about classic men's style, so he posts a bunch of old photos. Sometimes he posts pictures of what he's wearing, like a lot of people on the internet (and on this forum).

The Fok quotes came after Fok made a comment about how Vox is second tier to Manton and Matt; how Vox is supposedly a luxury-brand wearing neophyte; and how he had a tailor before him. It was a reaction to Fok's original post, which came frankly unprompted after poorsod's post about CM.

The #StyFoDude quotes on Twitter are funny. Sorry, but I stand by those.

@zissou I'm glad you said making fun b/c this supposed hate between Vox and Fok is sort of like a joke IMO.

It just helps push the others personal agenda.

Hate is a strong word, maybe loathe is better.

Loathing is at least as strong as hatred.

And "next level creepy"? Get a grip, not only is it tumblr (which explains 1 & 2), he was responding to comments here (which explains #3).

I don't even have a tumblr account, but if I did I would probably subscribe to vox.

Ugh, :shakingfist: @ benesyed

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but there's a big leap in caring when someone creates a site and then makes passive aggressive posts to it for everyone to see.

Re vetements, are we talking about this current season?
Previous seasons seemed to be heavily branded and 'street' of you will

Just googled that. Dude.

Holy ****, this has so much potential for hilarity. Imagine people paying to borrow the identity of others to search for censored terms, buy undesirable things, etc. I'm also assuming rates of identity theft will skyrocket, so politicians, etc. can buy Appreciation without it negatively reflecting on them.

I doubt we are in disagreement over the level of constructiveness, but "creepy" is trotted out so frequently now as a rote criticism it is losing its meaning.

Unnecessary is unnecessary, inappropriate is inappropriate, and creepy is creepy. And never the trine shall meet, except in schlocky grindhouse horror pictures.

Reverting edits won't bring back ImageShack pictures.

I'm pretty sure that ship has long since sailed, crashed, sunk, and been eaten by Jaws and/or the kraken.

Maybe old news but discovered this while visiting checking out twitter accounts, @dieworkwear own feed: Look Inside Dries Van Noten’s Paradise-Like Garden

It was posted on SF in the last week because I've seen it, but I couldn't tell you which thread that was (it may have been this one).
