Maybe you guys will like Koché, it is street couture (streetwear pieces often made by actual couture ateliers, the designer also does stuff for some of the Chanel ateliers) and sorta fun.

Definitely, for my personal consumption I'm more and more drawn to continental workwear as @Superb0bo called it a while ago and also more generally traditional makers whose production is not really aimed at the fashion market to begin with and offers no frills time-tested designs (so like, non-fashion-minded heritage companies I guess). Best thing is that it generally works seamlessly with my designer stuff and often feels much more complementary and coherent than full on designer outfits. Not dismissing designer fashion though but I've gotten much more picky I guess.

Haha. I didn't mean this season specifically, but yeah, it wasn't good. I don't like this rock n roll kick he's got going. So cheesy.

Koché sounds interesting. Don't know it but will check it out.

    Pic of piece in question?
Cotton body with wool back, polyester padding, an acrylic collar and leather elbows definitely sounds interesting

How much of that is actually Kanye fucking it up as opposed to Ackerman just having more eyes on him ready to pick things apart since Kanye has kind of co-signed him (as backwards as that sounds)?
Wouldn't everything up to around next FW have been designed prior to The Kanye Co-sign anyway, or do the smaller designers not work that far ahead (I always understood that seasons were designed about 3 seasons in advance. Like designers would currently be working on SS17 right now)?

What ? This is dumb. I'm sure a Kanye co-sign is something that registers somewhere on the Richter scale but it means absolutely fuck all unless Ackermann is secretly about to drop a mixtape. It's just a shit looking collection by an established designer perfectly able to fuck it up on his own, he's been going down the SLP drain for a couple collections now so it's not all that surprising either.

Very detailed. And English and French. I thought that Sage de Cret was a Japanese brand - never examined their tags though.

    Colored me interested.

Does anyone have a good site that archives runway looks, particularly older seasons? I've noticed the place I used to use (http://www.contemporaryfashion.net) has changed to some shitty fashion blog and also resources like the old Margiela website archive has disappeared too. Anyone know of a place that archives runway looks? Seems like it could be a cool project

Which traditional makers are you into? Also, feel exactly the same.
