Showing her this should do the trick: "Your Commute is Killing You"
got lonely and decided to get a real job. It's pretty hard to find well-paying jobs in Tokyo that don't have horrible overtime or terrible corporate culture so I took this one when I got the chance.
Only downside is I can't watch football games
I guess it would depend on:
A. What does $750 constitute in terms of a percentage increase in rent?
B. What does your resulting commute look like?
If you're rent goes from $3,500 to $4,250 and your commute drops from 35 min to 5 min, probably worth it IMO. OTOH, if your rent goes from $1,500 to $2,250 and your commute drops from 120 min to 90 min, probably not worth it.
I thought the same thing. If you wanna buy Jordans for your three year old, your taxes are too low.
Rent is cheap in Tokyo, much closer to the latter
My commute is 30 mins train + 15 mins walking. I wanna be within a 10-15 min walk. I'm a big baby.
That BAPE kid seems pretty cool.
I still have a flipping black Bape Swarovski camo hoodie at my moms house, I should get that out. It's gotta be cool again, right??
Idk if its the styling but some of the yeezy pieces looked pretty good
NN, your mom should wear it.
When you find exactly why you want on the SF marketplace but realize it's a WTB listing, meaning you didn't find it AND are competing with somebody for it.
well said @Biggskip. @nicelynice additionally, aside from overall affordability, is the potential of that hour of your day you'd be getting back worth it to you?
quick math: assuming you go to work 5/7ths of the days in a year, which is not 100% true, but whatever, you're paying about $34.50 a day to not ride the train for an hour.
I did the math one day and came to the conclusion that based on my compensation at work that my time not at work was worth $15/hr. So I always factors that my when I make decisions like this. And before anybody asks, yes, I am a huge nerd. And, yes, I probably try to apply quantitative approaches to too many things.
I think theres some interesting pieces, the color palate being the most interesting thing I see, but I blame the lighting used in the runway presentation for making it look appealing at all. The photos from SENSE look like oversaturated instagram filters. The prices are notably insane, especially considering comparably affordable options for similar military repro that may be better made, but then again so are the prices of plenty of designers favored on SF.

Need cool pants. Preferably fuller/somewhat slim at the seat with a taper. I'm sure @nicelynice has a list somewhere
