For your pants, you might want to consider some of midrange Japanese MTM/MTO outfits. They tend do a good job for not a lot of money. Ask some of the Japan based CM guys like @daizawaguy or @nutcracker for further info. Other than that, I suppose you can try the more CM outlets of Beams, UA and Tomorrowland.

for me, online shopping is a constant oscillation between two thoughts:

"why am I so particular?" and "why is everything so disappointing?"

I've been watching chef's table on Netflix and wow it's good.
No spoiler but the Francis mallman in episode 3 has a mean poncho game.

Chef's Table is a great series.

I've also been binge watching Mind of a Chef. Love the first and third season the most and watching David Chang eat all that ramen in Tokyo just makes me want to go back that much more.

I'm going to be in Scandinavia and I was tempted to go to Faviken because of Chef's Table. But he really takes the secluded restaurant idea to the max: need to fly to Stockholm, then another plane or train to nearest station, then either rent a car or $100 cab ride to the town Faviken is located in. But it would be an unforgettable experience.

I haven't but I've been meaning to make that cod omelette. Every time I see that my mouth just waters, it looks so damn good.

Yes, fantastic! Mallmann was my favourite.

Speaking of Netflix, I watched the documentary on Hayao Miyazaki (Kingdom of Dreams and Madness) and the producer is wearing one of those Japanese fireman (inspired? doesn't look like sashiko ) jackets that @Rosenrot wore that one time. Maybe this isn't unusual in Japan, but I thought it was neat:
