    re LA trip: Mister Freedom is cool, but a visit won't be worth much unless it was planned ahead of time because of their strict photo policy

    I second the rec for Union cause you don't see a lot of that stuff in US stores, not sure if they have a photo policy or not

    Backlash leather would be rad

    hit me up if you want hole in the wall food recs, live music, etc
    im not the most active poster, but im around later this week if you need an evening tour guide or hoity toity literature discussion

    Mohawk now has separate mens and womens locations near each other, I think it's worth a visit now that they've expanded

    if you wanna get into the sneakerhead stuff for some reason there's the Sunset Undefeated location close to Mohawk, a location right by Union on La Brea, and I can rec the Little Tokyo spots as well though it's not exactly my scene

    I would definitely check out Union. The Trading Post down on La Brea always has some interesting little items as well. OK store on 3rd for art books, ceramics, jewelry, etc. Maybe Milkmade in Venice (small but nicely curated). Mohawk is always a good stop as well.

    h lorenzo over everything. they have a second store on melrose which is within walking distance to maxfields, which has a lot of paul harnden and yohji.

    depending on where you're staying you could start at maxfields and h lorenzo on melrose, cut down to la brea to check out union, then head north to sunset for h lorenzo's main location.

    @Abraxis' dog

    edit: I read LA as SF. I don't understand California. Change that to SVB's dogs

    My corgi Juggernaut is great. I think mellowfellow is in love with him :)

    Synthese -- I like South Willard, Hlorenzo, Sartoria Loft, Maxfields (maybe both or is there 3?), opening ceremony maybe? i dunno there's probably a lot more.
