I guess that it's time to start trolling.
For me, it's more like if a store I like (formerly LN-CC, maybe the now-defunct Seilin; or, in the past, Fwrd) has something I want at a good enough price I just stop looking - so rather than comparison it's just "Eh, "TULIP" gives me 15% off and ships in two days. Good enough! Or, "Lucy's a rad girl, she'll send me some Rick." Or "I NEED INDIGO." I don't know how much comparison shopping I do on specific pieces these days, but then again, most of what I've bought over the last year or so has been through non-traditional retail channels (etsy, B&S, whatever).
Like $25 and I'm really pausing
Someone from grailed just issued a CC chargeback on me. I gave Paypal the USPS tracking number in the resolution center. Should I be worried? This guy hasn't contacted me at all since I shipped the item 2 months ago, so he's definitely up to something.
Sometimes I hear about these chargeback stories, and I seriously consider recording my self packaging and signing shit at the shipping centers as evidence.
@t3hg0suazn hope things work out for you. It seems like Paypal almost always sides with the buyer :T
yea this is the nail in the coffin. done with grailed, back to good old B&S
Is Guyiconsignment legit?
I think so, haven't bought personally but I recall someone on SZ said it was safe.
Paypal is going to die one day, with that practice.
Is he claiming he never got the package? I had an issue a while back where buyer claimed not in same condition as pics and ppal sided with him. Now apparently my account is too risky so they permanently limited my account (can't send or receive money and can't unlink bank acct & CCs)
Maybe it's for the best.
No, claimed reason 83: fraudulent credit card activity
I've had it happen 3 times before through eBay. Buyer does a chargeback a few months later, I show proof of delivery, tracking bought through eBay/PayPal with signature confirmation showing the buyer accepted and signed for the package, and I still "lost" all 3 cases.
I don't know whether this makes me happy or sad Yahoo Auctions is entirely direct bank deposits. I feel safe selling my things, but the couple of times I've been burned I've had zero recourse. PayPal is awful, but I can't imagine a system that much better
RE: Guyi Consignment. I can't even find a contact on their website. Was gonna call, or e-mail them at the very least, just to check 'em out, but not gonna place an order on a webstore that looks like it's straight out of the box.
