I’ve raised half of my tuition for next semester by selling clothes I never wear. (It’s cheap tuition and I get half off, but still...). And, next semester I’m learning how to design a whole clothing line. Sell clothes to learn how to design clothes.

Ah cheap sunglasses, I found some Arnettes I like, thickish black frames and kind of rectangular with yellow lenses. I usually like larger sunglasses but these are fun.

Generally for every item I buy I sell about one or two so I’m ending up with just artisanal Margiela pieces and stuff I really love with a few Valentino and Tom Ford items thrown in. I just recently purged my Cutler and Gross and got all Jaques Marie Mage...(except the Cutler and Gross x Margiela of course). So basically I can still technically call my closet “minimal” I’m pushing it though

Anyways wtf is up with my suede boots staining my white jeans fellas? Any way to prevent this?

The All Terain line from Descente has been solid for a number of years. I know that the mainline brand has announced they are pulling out of North America next year while they look for a distributor. Hopefully that doesn't impact this line as they've been picked up by a handful of retailers and online shops.

That's your boots melting in the November Miami heat.

Not sure there is anything you can do about that. I always spray suede with Saphir Super Invulner, which does an amazing job of keeping the suede clean and making it fairly water resistant. Maybe it would help with preventing dye transfer to clothes?

The wool coat I recently got is unlined, and I cant help thinking some sort of lining would improve wind resistance. Anyone know if putting some sort of ( half) lining (or even just sleeves) is a big job for a tailor?

I had a leather jacket relined and replaced pocket bags. Been a while, but I think I paid somewhere around $100?

Yea makes sense, done similar things before as well. But I wonder how complicated it is for the tailor to make lining from scratch (i.e., not basing it on the pre-existing lining in any way). Perhaps the same thing in the end?

Love that collection. Their stores in Tokyo are a must visit every time I’m in town. The original baseball lines are cool too if you don’t feel like spending $850+ on jackets.
