I don't have to, but I absolutely hate traveling during high tourist season. I would rather deal with rain than crowds

Let me know if you think of it!
Jacket is cool, thanks for the rec, DWW

I was so also looking at some nylon options from Aspesi, but a fatigue jacket is just a bit blah
I was thinking about Grenfell

Over the last decade, I've worn doc marten 1461's more than any other single shoe model, but I'm thinking I'd like to switch things up a bit. I'm looking for a similar looking chunky derby, ideally with nicer leather than docs. I'd love getting a pair of the Hender Scheme version that @shopcanoeclub has been rocking, but it's out of my price range for now.

I've looked at a couple pairs of Tricker's that could do the job, but I'm blanking on other brands/models to check out. Anyone have some suggestions for me?

Sanders Worcester

Their webstore photos aren’t great but they’re better looking irl

I’ve been considering a pair of these Churchs to replace my Dries derbies

Also consider the Wings and Horns officer shoe, although they seem to be in short supply lately

W+H officer shoe and boot are cool. I like them, but they’re glued and the leather wasn’t that nice. Better than docs for sure but not great

Agreed - I don't regret getting mine, but the leather on my Carmina, Paraboot and Tricker's shoes is better. I'd say they're around Meermin quality, but like you mentioned, with glued soles instead of stitched.

@bencap another option - Paraboot Michael

Seconding (more like thirding or fourthing at this point) the paraboots and redwing postmans.
