Feel like this could benefit from something a bit less lightweight on top, or maybe just beefier lapels

Anyone ever do any experiments of repurposing fashion ephemera into a practical/art object? I couldn't find a good enough tissue box cover so I had the idea to turn my Hamilton watch box that was doing nothing into one. Turns out that box is way, way, more plastic than wood and it was hours more work than I had initially thought with my apartment level of tools but it did work in the end.

i'd had an idea to *mount* a few vintage pieces on display like hunting trophies , they would be skinned n stuffed so to speak ( as in rendered unwearable and somewhat unrecognizable ) but i never got around to really fleshing it all out

Where are the Armani from the 80s pictures? Them boys were big. I have some vintage mole skin trousers and they are huge but I love em.

Also the only Barbour I like is the longshoreman. It's ******* sick

The one Hugo Boss model is one of the most iconic looking people in fashion too IMO.

I'm doing an experiment with my local tailor to have a drape cut suit made in this cloth below. I'm not confident anymore it will work, but fingers crossed.

In my head, the O'Connell's pants will fit similiar to this, minus the pleats.

43" hips
26.25" thighs
15.75" hem opening.
12" front rise.

15.75” isn’t really that big though is it? I think of 9” as being the starting point for “big” and 8” is pretty normal. Think of like orSlow slim army chinos. They’re awesome, but I wouldn’t call them big, and they’re 7.75”

I looked up those chinos. Yeah the measurements are very similiar, and it looks trimmer than the '96 Ralph chinos up there.

Hmm, not ideal, but I'll see how I like the pants. If they don't work, I might try the Bronson workwear chinos next and make sure to have them creased to add some shape.
