I've got an extraneous canvas shower curtain and am wondering what it might be repurposed for or made in to (avoiding the Ajax stains).

@msg yeah I used we shop France a couple of months ago.
it was “ok”
But the thing I had them order was a pair of boots that were listed as a size 12, and when I got them they were a 9.5
They told me “next time you can ask us to verify the size before we forward it to you” which just seemed like it would have been a standard practice for a proxy service but apparently that’s my fault for assuming.

Well, it is a French service, so take that into account. If I were to rate services, I would say that the very best, nearly across the board, are Japanese proxy services. If the online and in person service levels are correlated, I would put French and Italian right down there at the bottom. The flavor is different though. French in store service, you sometimes get the distinct feeling that they think that you are some type of idiot, but not sympathetlic enough to merit help. I've been in numerous Italian stores in which the store attendants have seemed visibily angry that I would be so inconsiderably as to disturb their day by requiring basic services like being rung up.

Interesting read

" Even now, in my early fifties, rather than fading into the background in regulation “dadwear,” I still like to push the envelope a little, much to the amusement of my two teenage daughters."

I liked these interviews with men. GASP. over 60.
