It's just word salad trying to portray some sort of 'enlightment'

My oldest daughter is 14, nearly 15, and yeah, the zoomers are a good generation. She is not just much, much, smarter and more mature than I was at her age, she seems to also be much more honest without aggression. That said, the very worst, completely unhinged people also seem to be zoomers. It’s like the filters are gone, for good and for bad.

Just so I know where you're coming from here...who are these very worst, completely unhinged people who are also <25yo?

Relax, it's just a genre of music, it's not sentient so it can't get offended.

I think you are mistaking my amusement at your engaging in musical criticism with something that was more akin to mood lighting for anger. This stuff was made to set a mood, not provide nourishment for the soul.

Just me, or does denim / raw denim increase the amount of ingrown hairs on your legs? Anyone else and anyone else find a way to prevent this? Bit gross, but gotta keep legs summer ready.

Well, it's not a coincidence that some of the worst mass shooting recently have been perpetuated by 18 year olds, nor that some of the people most deeply into conspiracy theories and most activated by them have been under 25 as well.

I work with younger people as a coach, and for some, there is a profound disconnect from their immediate community, it seems, more than in previous generations. There is also, just from my experience, a real searching for guidance, which they often get from the worst sources. It's the flip side of being open to things.

I really don't want to get into this more outside of CE, but I'd be happy to discuss it there.

i could ask what this means but maybe better to ask the reverse ... what is * projection / ego * in this context ?

Sometimes with very well-informed patients they have already decided what they have, what is happening, what they want, and any gentle re-direction is like an affront to their intelligence and they get all defensive.

I can't believe people buy that generational common wisdumb crap, that's some millennial superstition, ******* hate them.

And don't tell me you think Claude Challe buddha bar compilations weren't high art, not having it.

Who makes good "overshirts" that can be layered under a jacket? Bit interested in slightly more technical options (eg wind resistant /breathable) but anything goes. Strong preference for non-cropped cuts.

Well! I applied for an apparel designer position last night and they emailed me at noon today asking when I can come "meet the team." I spoke with the Director of Design and Innovation last Friday for the first time and he ended the conversation asking about my availability and salary range. 🤞🤞

this has happened to me in the past when my pants were too tight or if the cut wasn’t right leading to too much pressure in those areas

@superbobo at this point... everyone? my favourite 'dad options' are MHL, UU, and a UK brand called form & thread.

for a more technical look stoney is king and allows you to cultivate that top boy vibe. americans should not wear stoney its cultural appropriation, drake hanging in the ends speaking with a faux jamaican patois
