I have a bunch of those Frank Leder toiletries but I’ve forgotten what the labels mean so I haven’t used them. I think one of them is sausage bubble bath.

Somebody regale me with tales of fluffy silk because I had no clue it was a thing and it looks glorious. Is it like yarn spun silk that’s knitted and frayed? Or simply knitted?
How does it work and can I have 3.5k in your best Australian dollars so I can buy this?

I had an Ann D turtleneck from FW16 that was also made from silk, and in that case, it was just knitted. It was very comfy and very light despite its very textured appearance, in the sense that it looked like it was knitted from heavy gauge wool. It did wear pretty hot though and not as breathable as wool and the reason why I ultimately sold it -- but of course now I regret selling it and it is now so old that I doubt that I will ever find the piece again.

How on earth does the article not attribute Jason Jules as the author? There's a host of articles about 'black businesses" linked at the bottom so maybe give the black author some recognition?

No tales to tell but it looks somewhat similar to mohair from here danger danger

Less than 12 hours after submitting my application for an apparel design position at a major outdoor/casual apparel company, the Director of Recruiting (who used to be the Director of Design) wrote back to tell me that my work looks amazing and scheduled a personal interview with me. ??

Thanks, guys! Will do. My dream job is to dig through their archives and reissue/update some of their classic designs. Luckily for me, my program here has an archive of outdoor catalogs, including ones from this company as far back as 1945. ?

It must have taken a lot of courage to chase your dream career later in life, I really hope it plays out for you!

You should definitely post some pics of those catalogs sometime!
