My wife got an interesting job in Tokyo, and it seemed like a great opportunity for her, me, and our now-two-year-old. So we sold our house and made the move. Definitely bittersweet to give all that up but it’s a whole new world this way.

Currently staying with family in Kamakura, but apartment hunting in Tokyo. Most likely Tsukiji area for convenience to work and something that is seemingly family friendly. When you make it back please hit me up!

And that goes for anyone on SF in Japan or east Asia. Would love to connect

Yeah, he stopped posting after that. The du Jet put up a douche front sometimes but in reality the guy was a really good dude. Completely different person in PMs. Good advice on vitamins, suntan lotion, baller knits, and Cazals you name it haha

Be careful. My wife got an "interesting" job offer in Paris, so we sold our UWS apartment and moved here with our 2 very young kids, intending to stay for 2 years max. That was a decade ago...
