I don't love em as I feel they are mad busy even though I have a Lawrence jacket. However I do like talking **** on minimalism.

Venting post:

> Be me
> Buy new 21oz and 15oz selvedge denim jeans
> Drop off at the usual tailor I use to have the hems shortened 2 inches
> Tell me two days later ready to be picked up
> They're not. Come back in two more days.
> Two more days later go to pick them up.
> MFW I take off the protective wrapping to see they've pressed a vertical crease down the center of both legs on both jeans.
> My brand new, unworn $600+ worth selvedge jeans now look like hillbilly prom pants.

That’s why you should just cuff jeans!

Seriously, though, sorry.

I do cuff them, still. It's just that they all start at 36" inseams, when I just want them around 33" to 34" so my cuff rolls are less fat.

Jeans only get hemmed by denim folk, not your regular tailor, no matter how good they are. They always screw it up. Send to that place Derick recommended in PTO not too long ago, which I recently did myself on a pair of Orslows and worked out great, or to SE. They know what they’re doing. I like them hemmed to where I can do a single cuff if I want for loagers or sandals, or leave longer for boots.

I’m kinda digging these AE loagers, might grab them when they inevitably get marked down like 75%
