I came to the realization, 7 years after starting my journey into clothing as a hobby, that I don’t dress that much different than at the start.

Arguably I’m doing it better, probably, but it’s not all that different.

I knew almost immediately into my fashunz journey that due to my love of hot climates it didn’t get better than some sidezip Cuban heels, tropical Virgin wool trousers, and a barely buttoned up shirt. That’s probably the peak of my style

I started about 5-6 years ago. My shoes are much nicer and I have some nice suits that I never wear. Overall, I agree, I dress similar to how I did before I started all of this. However, I believe my clothes fit better.

I've recently come to the conclusion that, despite all evidence otherwise, I have absolutely no need for grey flannel trousers. Living in southern CA, I have not needed them once in 10+ years, although every forum/fashion blog/magazine would have me believe that grey flannel trousers are an absolute must-have staple in every man's wardrobe, I have no idea why I ever listened to this. Not only have I never needed them, I've never seen anyone else here wearing them either.
