I just don't find much redeeming value in wearing jeans.
Yall boys in your winter fabrics. It's almost time to bust out the booty shorts and linen, but instead we are out here talking about cord and denim. Show me some fabrics that will make the tropical summer less hellish.
This guy pretty much stole my comment. I’d only to add that you haven’t lived until you’ve gone commando in tropical virgin wool trousers
I accept I'm in a tiny minority with this point of view (especially on this side of the forum). I just don't find much redeeming value in wearing jeans. They're less comfortable, less versatile, less interesting than almost any other trouser choice you can make in my opinion.
Yes only in SF must we choose between cord and denim.
I can see that denim is less comfortable at times. I've been wearing slim tapered cargos for a while now so I guess im in the same boat. But corduroy just seems so dated in the current world of fashion.
I don't understand people who hate raw denim. Probably one of my favorite things to wear. Relatively affordable as far as "fashion" goes, easy to care for, gets better with age, the backbone for many casual wardrobes, and yes, the sick fades.
My theory is that a lot of people tried raw denim when the trend was to size down on low-rise slim jeans, that **** won't be comfortable no matter how much you break them in.I don't understand people who hate raw denim. I like denim as a fabric, but really dislike anything anywhere close to slim fit (i.e., anything in 501 country). I have a couple of pairs of loose-fit Old Town trousers in denim, best of both worlds... But then again I'm not into any Americana look.
