Alright brain trust, where do I buy big wale corduroy trousers out there (washed navy/blue and cheap if possible)? Workwear or CMish is fine but I need the big wale.

Right now, I'm tempted to give a try to J.Peterman (what a store!)

doppiaa has some big wale cords a season or two ago, might be able to find these second hand? no man walks alone also carried them but looks like they aren't listed on the site any more.

Polo on ebay is plentiful and often baggy
Uniqlo had a super wide pair in brown (maybe part of Lemaire??)
Vintage stores often have some if you want to dig in person.

Yeah, was going to say that searching ebay for "wide wale" pulls up lots of baggy, often pleated pairs, mostly Polo but some other brands in there too.

Every brands origin story:
There was something missing from what was offered, nobody made the clothes I wanted to wear. We started with pants, that had pockets for things like a phone and wallet, but also belt loops so you could wear a belt. Then we made them in black (!). We had orders from all the major retailers who wanted a pair of pants but just couldn’t find them until we made them.

I had a visceral reaction the first time I saw an ad for "Untuckit Shirts," like are you ******* kidding me, "shirts designed to be worn untucked!" Like no, **** off, this is nothing new, and surely everyone else knows this and will laugh this off... right?

Wrong.

I was searching for the same thing about a year ago and ended up buying some from Lands’ End of all places. I got the pleated “traditional fit” and I think I paid about 50 bucks.

It was between the Kapital Navy Supply Boots and these Viberg x Division Road side-zips, but after it appears Kapital doesn't go above a size '4', it looks like these are the frontrunners.

I imagine these may be divisive. My main concern is the Dainite studded sole – I've had one pair of dress shoes with this sole and while I did find them okay for rainy days, they were a bit uncomfortable over long periods of wear. I'm also aware that many have opinions about how they perform in certain slick or icy conditions.

How do these size?

This is still a question I have, just in case.

Do they in fact go above a size '4'? I'm guessing I would be between a 5 and a 6.
