Does anyone make a navy casentino-wool balmacaan coat?

I've been looking for casentino coats in general and coming up with zilch. Was it really that much of a trend to have totally disappeared in 2020? I just like the material.

Iroshizuku are wonderful inks, Sailor are excellent too (never really got on with their pens), and Diamine are good and great value. I have more inks than I know what do do with. Stationary is an interesting area, plenty of good writing papers, but I'm increasingly finding greetings cards are atrocious for fountain pens.

I have actually never bought Iroshizuku, the price is a bit prohibitive when there are plenty of other great inks available. I agree that Diamine is a great value - probably the best quality/price ratio out there, and they have an astonishing amount of choice.

I assume you aren't talking about run-of-the-mill greeting cards from Hallmark, so I find that a bit surprising. I assume there is a fairly big crossover between fountain pen users and people who still write greeting cards! I would think any decent stationary store would have fountain-pen friendly options. I know Clairefontaine and Old Crown Mill makes stationary sets that include cards, should be a safe bet for FP use.

However if you're talking about pre-printed Christmas or greeting cards, your best bet would probably be having some made from a local printer/photography studio so you can select your own paper.

Iroshizuku can be picked up at more reasonable prices from Japanese based Amazon/ebay sellers (or via Zenmarket), although prices and availability seem to vary by colour.

Just run of the mill Birthday/Christmas cards you pick up in a card/gift shop - some work really well, many are adequate but an increasing number seem to be ink unfriendly - generally overly absorbent rather than too glossy.

They aren't navy but Séfr have a couple of coats in a Casentino wool blend if you after that material in general.

The ian coat comes in Navy but doesn't look like the right material unfortunately.

The only good pen I have is a rose gold & black lacquer Montblanc rollerball from when I got into med school. More than a handful of cartridge replacements later and a lot of time spent banging around in my briefcase it’s still running great

I heard that there is rampant voter fraud for the Friday Challenge and that we shouldn't accept the results of the next election
