For single hand closures, I wonder if something from Fidlock might be able to be rigged up to work. I know their magnet closures work very well for belts and the magnet helps them close without needing a second hand and they've got some other interesting bits using magnets I've seen.

might need to look at Etsy or ebay to get the part as I don't think the distributor sells to consumers directly.

I've just had a horrible thought that when I bought the hat I was wearing yesterday, a fair few of you weren't even born yet...
A fellow student in one of my design classes asked me how long I’ve owned my (50 year-old) motorcycle. When I told him 20 years, his jaw dropped, likely because that is longer than he’s been alive.

Are you a size medium? If so, I’ve found the same print albeit it doesn’t have that ribbed detailing

Yeah I’ve seen about 3 on grailed etc. I think I’d be a size 42,43 in Prada so about an L or XL

Now that I have achieved my lifetime ambition of appearing on the front page of StyFo, I am filled with ennui. What else is there left to do?

I was bored one day and talllied up all my clothes in a quasi spreadsheet. All it did was remind me of how much I've spent on clothes. And that I have way too many brown shoes.

A couple years ago I had way too much time on my hands and made an Airtable database. I've since abandoned it, but it was handy for keeping track of what I had in storage vs what I had in my closet. It also made reselling things very easy, since I saved the original product photos and descriptions for everything (and sometimes measurements) in the database.

you could also view things in a million different ways. anything from: show me all my shirts by X brand that are a particular size ... to more specific filters like: show me everything that's green, wearable during fall/winter, vintage, and can be classified as "heavy duty ivy" or militaria or tailoring or sportswear or whatever.

it kind of sucked the fun out of clothes though and was more work than it was worth.

I recently pulled my Bar Mitzvah pen out of the drawer in which it has languished for many years and have been using it regularly, which gives me great joy. I’m 52 so I will have had it for 40 years at my next birthday.
