How do I get detergent smell out of a pair of my denim? I’ve washed them multiple times and frozen them, but they still have a weird smell

Use scentless detergent. The scent you smell is a fragrance that has been added, much like how fragrances are added to shampoos and body washes. But you can get scentless detergents, if you want.

Perfume lasts for a pretty long time on clothing. I'm not sure if you can get it out without washing, to be honest.

On skin, the stuff somewhat disappears after 8 or 10 hours, depending on the concentration of perfume oils.

But on clothing, it seems to last forever. I have sport coats where I can faintly smell the hint of perfume because my tailored clothing rarely gets dry cleaned. You have to put your nose up to it, and it depends on the coat. But it's there.
Damn. Good to know, though. Thanks for the input

Ive had some impressive results with the fragrance free febreez. Usually have to find it online.
I will give that a shot, thanks!

The best way to get perfume or cologne out of a garment is to soak it in a baking soda solution overnight, it completely neutralizes the scent compounds. Obviously that’s only for stuff that can be washed in water.

Dry cleaning seems pretty hit or miss, and I wonder if the supercritical CO2 method is more or less effective at getting odors out than “regular” dry cleaning. Dry cleaning itself can leave an odor.

I’m allergic to the fragrances they use in detergents so I only use All “Free and Clear” Laundry Detergent or similar hypoallergenic products.

Someone said perfume so....I finally got my hands on one of my GOATS

I have a limited cologne collection but my two all time GOATS are TF Tobacco Vanille and Creed Windsor. I was finally able to track down some OG Windsor...and it’s as good as I remember
