I bought two pairs of RM boots after the company was sold to LVMH. I think they're nice.

Also bought a pair of those Ranch Road boots last year. I haven't handled Thursday boots, so can't compare, but RR also seems nice to me. Some of them have a stitched-on rubber sole, but so do some Edward Green shoes nowadays. Rubber soles are often more flexible. Just seems like a trade-off.

Anyone know why some stores list the Hoka One One Sky Kaha different from Kaha? Same shoe?

ever since they got bought by LV the quality has gone down hill.

Check out the rmw thread on here. Seems like that's all unfounded. A local store started carrying carftman and gardener, and I gotta say, the brand new ones are just as good as mine from 2015-18, and tons of folks have 10+ yr old pairs on here that seem identical as well. I wouldn't not buy just bc you heard a rumor about the quality...
